The Veterans Resource Office (VRO) was created to assist USU student veterans in their transition between the military and civilian environment. The VRO serves as the the central switch board for the veterans who need information or assistance, whether it is regarding their VA benefits, USU related topics, or civilian matters. The VRO is also a place where the veterans can network with each other. Please come to the office to find out more about the VRO. Your input and involvement will be welcome.

The Bear River Association of Governments was formed in 1971 by Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties. BRAG is a voluntary organization of local governments created to facilitate intergovernmental cooperation and to insure the orderly and harmonious coordination of federal, state, and local programs for the solution of mutual problems of the region.
BRAG’s goal is to serve as a multi-purpose organization, utilizing their combined total resources, to provide a more effective means for planning and development of the physical, economic, and human resources of the region.
Veterans Service Animal Project
Veterans interested in participating will need to fill out an application from Cache Valley Veterans Association, provide a DD214 as proof of their prior service, and a letter from their physician recommending a dog for a specific need.
Dogs are sourced from local shelters or rescues, if the Veteran does not already have a suitable dog. Arctic Rescue is making this possible and we also work with Y Not Save A Sam Rescue operated by Yvette here in Logan. These are amazing rescues who have a passion for saving the lives of the innocent and are grateful for the sacrifices of our Veterans.
