FREE ADMISSION!!! Michael J Allred Ride for the Fallen is coming close. This year the Ride for the Fallen event will also include family fun activities, games and vendor booths and resources. These fun activities will be free to the entire community. Donations will be graciously accepted to support the Dan Gyllenskog Veterans Resource Center.
About The Ride
The Ride will start with a memorial commemorating the service of the brave men and women of Utah who have given their lives in the service of their country since Sep 11, 2001.
0915 – Memorial Ceremony honoring those who have fallen since 2001
1030 – Kick Stands Up as the ride begins, led by the CVMA
1300 – The riders will return and eat lunch
1400 – The raffle/auction begins
There will be several veterans’ agencies and organizations on site for those who have questions about benefits and need to connect with other veterans and their organizations.
Fun filled activities for those who don’t ride:
Sidewalk Chalk Art lessons and contest for youth with prizes with one of GE’s own renowned artists
Games and activities for the little ones in the shade
Ice cream from Caspers
Bouncy houses, big slide, balloon artists, carnival games & a magician for families as well as some vendors and food trucks
Cache Valley Veterans Association will have a mobile Veterans Resource Center on site to meet with veterans and families of veterans who may need help
